Morfiade or Dolphin Anty

Dolphin Anty is a well-made, well-known product, and we are not going to argue that it is bad. The difference between it and Morfiade is not quality but architecture: one is a cloud service, the other a program on your own computer. Almost everything else follows from that.

About numbers. We deliberately do not copy anyone else's prices and limits here: they change, and a stale figure on our page misleads you even when the mistake is honest. For their current terms see the Dolphin Anty site; ours are on the pricing page.

The same goes for features. Everything said below about Dolphin Anty comes from their own documentation as of the date this page was written. The product is alive and changes — if something here is no longer true, tell us and we will fix it.

Where Morfiade is stronger

The data does not leave. Profiles, cookies and passwords sit on your disk. We cannot read them, lose them in an outage on our side, or hand them over on someone's request — we simply do not have them. For some people that is the deciding argument, for others it does not matter; choose honestly.

The browser is genuine. Morfiade launches the Chrome you installed from Google's site. It updates along with ordinary Chrome and looks like ordinary Chrome — because it is ordinary Chrome. Chromium builds always lag slightly behind the current version, and that is visible from outside.

You can buy it once. $120 and the term never ends. A cloud subscription never ends in a different sense: you pay for as long as you use it.

Nothing breaks on their side. The program does not call our server in order to let you start a profile. Our server can be down — your profiles will still open.

The synchroniser aims at an element, not at a screen point. Both have one, but they are built differently, and this is the case where the design matters more than a list of checkboxes.

Dolphin repeats the click coordinate in the follower windows. The consequences are listed in their own help: windows must be the same size, clicks and navigation do not work on maximised windows, a different number of tabs or extensions breaks the repeat, and several groups of differently sized windows cannot run at once.

Morfiade aims at the element itself — the field, the button, the link. So window sizes, full screen, an extra tab and small layout differences do not matter.

And handing out different values, which Dolphin does not have. Their synchroniser repeats the same thing into every window. We have a second mode: a list of values spreads across the windows line by line — each profile gets its own, pinned to that profile. Repeat the handout, close and reopen the windows, change the order — the same profile gets the same line. An account has one email.

The synchroniser stops by itself. If several actions in a row cannot find their element, the pages have drifted apart: a captcha here, something not finished loading there. Morfiade halts and says why. Otherwise a password goes into the search field on twenty sites at once.

Where Dolphin Anty is stronger

This is not politeness, it is the truth: if you need even one thing from the list below, take Dolphin Anty rather than Morfiade.

Teams. Several people, roles, shared profiles, handing an account to an employee without mailing files around. We do not have this at all: Morfiade is a program for one workplace.

Syncing between devices. With them a profile opens on another computer by itself. With us it is export and import, by hand.

macOS and Linux. We are Windows only.

Maturity and ecosystem. Years of work, a large community, ready integrations, documentation in several languages, support with a night shift. We are younger and smaller.

Mobile profiles and other special modes. We do not have them.

Who each suits

Morfiade — if you work alone or in a pair, on Windows, want to keep the data with you and prefer to pay once.

Dolphin Anty — if you have a team, different operating systems, need syncing, and are ready to pay for a service every month.

Equally true of both

No program of this class "gets around bans" or makes you invisible. What takes you furthest is not the fingerprint but the quality of your proxies: an address from a known datacentre range collects captchas no matter what you cover it with. We tested that against live protection — residential proxies helped, settings did not.
