Privacy policy

This document describes what data is processed when you use the Morfiade program and the morfiade.com website. It is written from what the program actually does, not from a template.

In short

• Profiles, cookies, passwords and browser history stay on your computer. We do not receive them, do not store them and technically cannot read them.
• What leaves your computer is the minimum needed for licensing and updates to work.
• There is no behaviour tracking, no analytics inside the program and no collection of usage statistics.

What the program sends to our servers

When checking or renewing a licence two values are sent:

The computer fingerprint is the result of irreversible hashing of the Windows system identifier (MachineGuid) with our salt. The system identifier itself never leaves the computer, and it cannot be recovered from the fingerprint. The fingerprint reveals neither the model of the computer, nor the user name, nor the installed programs.

When checking for updates the program requests a manifest file from dl.morfiade.com. That request contains none of your data; as with any web request, the receiving side sees the IP address it came from.

The program sends nothing anywhere else. Not a list of profiles, not names, not notes, not proxy addresses, not which sites you open.

What the program does NOT collect

• the contents of profiles: cookies, passwords, history, bookmarks, site data;
• the addresses and credentials of your proxies;
• profile names, categories and notes;
• the list of visited sites or any actions inside the browser;
• the contents of your scripts or the results of running them.

Everything listed is stored only on your disk. Backups, profile export and the local API work on your computer and send nothing outside. The local API listens on 127.0.0.1, is reachable only from that computer and requires a token.

Data when purchasing

Purchases go through the Telegram bot and a payment provider.

• The Telegram bot receives your Telegram identifier — that is how the bot knows who it issued a key to, and whom to talk to about renewal and rebinding.
• Payment details — card number, account details — are handled by the payment provider. We neither receive nor store them; we only get a payment confirmation, its amount and a payment identifier.
• Email, if you wrote to us, is processed in order to answer you.

Data on the website

The morfiade.com website uses no advertising or analytics counters and sets no tracking cookies. The site is served through the Cloudflare delivery network, which for technical reasons sees the IP address and request headers and uses them for attack protection and routing.

How long all this is kept

Who the data is shared with

Nobody, except where the service cannot work otherwise:

• the payment provider — to carry out a payment;
• Telegram — as the platform the bot runs on;
• infrastructure providers (hosting, Cloudflare) — to the extent normal for passing traffic.

We do not sell data, do not pass it to advertising networks and do not use it for profiling.

Your rights

You may ask what data about you we hold, request its correction or deletion, and withdraw consent. Write to [email protected] — we answer within a reasonable time.

Please note: deleting licence data also ends the licence — after that there is nothing left to restore the key from.

Changes to this policy

If the terms change, a new version will appear on this page with a new effective date. Significant changes will be announced in the Telegram channel.
