Switching from AdsPower
This page is for people who have already decided to leave. If you're still deciding, the Morfiade vs AdsPower comparison is more useful.
What you gain and what you lose
You gain:
- a fixed price. AdsPower's plan is priced by the number of profiles, and the next hundred costs the next chunk of money. Our price is one price and doesn't depend on how many profiles you have;
- access without paying. Stop paying AdsPower and it stops letting you into your profiles. With us, profiles still open on an unpaid license — the data is yours and stays accessible;
- work on your own machine. Profiles live with you, not in someone else's cloud.
You lose:
- macOS and Linux — Morfiade is Windows 10 and 11 only;
- team work — we have no shared profiles or seats for employees at all;
- cloud profiles — reaching the same profile from another computer is done by export and import for us, not the cloud;
- the no-code scenario builder — instead of blocks, we offer a local API and control from an AI agent.
If even one item from the second list is something you actually need — don't switch, and it's better to realize that now.
How to move
1. Export your profiles from AdsPower. The app has profile export and a separate cookie export. Take both: a profile without cookies arrives logged out.
2. Save your proxy list. Write down the addresses, ports, logins, and passwords — Morfiade has a proxy library where you enter them once and then assign them to profiles.
3. Install Morfiade and set up profiles. It's worth repeating the same names and categories one to one: that makes it easier to check nothing was lost.
4. Load the cookies into the profiles. Cookie import accepts the standard export format. After that, the profile opens already logged in.
5. Check the proxies before you start working, not after. The check shows not just whether it's alive but also which country it actually exits from — this matters more than it seems: a mismatch between the proxy's country and the browser's settings is more noticeable than the proxy itself.
⚠️ What to honestly expect. Sessions stored in cookies carry over. Passwords saved inside profiles do not: you'll have to move them with Chrome's built-in export to a file. The reason is explained in the article on App-Bound Encryption.
How long it takes
For a dozen profiles — an evening. For a hundred — a day, and most of that time goes not into the move itself but into checking: opening each profile and confirming the login is there.
There's no need to rush: we offer 7 trial days and 100 profiles with no card, so moving part of your profiles, working with them for a week, and only then deciding is a reasonable plan.
What doesn't change
No profile manager cancels the platforms' rules. And none of them fixes a bad proxy: an address from a datacenter subnet collects captchas no matter the fingerprint — we've tested this live, and it's cured by residential proxies, not by settings.
