Several crypto wallets in one browser
If you use a wallet extension, you know this awkwardness: the extension lives inside a browser profile, and it has one set of addresses. Need a second wallet — you have to log out, unlock the other one, then switch back. And if you have three or four wallets — personal, work, testing — switching turns into a chore of its own, and one day you'll sign a transaction from the wrong address.
The problem isn't solved inside the wallet — it's solved at the level of the browser profile.
Why a profile, not a second wallet
Extensions are installed into a profile. Different profiles mean different copies of the extension, each with its own storage:
- one profile has a wallet with one set of addresses, another has a different set;
- both are open at the same time, in adjacent windows, and switching is a click between windows;
- a site opened in one profile only sees the wallet that's in that profile;
- history, cookies, and connected sites are separate for each profile and don't mix.
This isn't "getting around" anything — you're simply keeping your wallets in separate drawers instead of one.
What this gives you in practice
Personal separate from work. A wallet you use for everyday payments isn't connected to the same sites as your work one.
A test network separate from the main one. A profile for the test network with a test wallet — and no risk of mixing up the network in your working window.
Different connections. A profile remembers which sites you gave access to. In a separate profile the list of connections is short and easy to keep track of, and it's easier to revoke what shouldn't be there.
A proxy per profile, if you need one. Some services aren't reachable from certain countries; you can assign a profile its own address, and it will apply only to that window, without touching the rest.
What this looks like in Morfiade
- Create a profile for each wallet and give it a plain-language name — "main," "test," "work." The name is visible right in the window, so it's hard to mix them up.
- Install the wallet extension into the profile. Extensions can be pushed to several profiles at once instead of installing them by hand into each one.
- Go through the wallet's initial setup in each profile separately — that's the one step you'll have to repeat.
- After that, just open the profiles you need, side by side.
Profiles move to another computer along with their sessions, so when you switch machines you won't have to hand out connections to sites all over again.
What stays yours
The important part, worth reading carefully:
- the program runs on your own computer. Profiles, extensions, and their storage sit on your disk, not on our server;
- we neither see nor ask for anything from the wallet. No seed phrases, no passwords, no addresses — the program manages browser windows, not the contents of extensions;
- an AI agent can't read cookies. If you connect an AI agent to the program, it can open and close a window, but it cannot pull your cookies out — that's blocked on purpose;
- deleting a profile only sends it to the trash, where it can be restored in full.
Honest limits
⚠️ The seed phrase is the only thing protecting your funds. It must never be entered anywhere except the wallet extension itself, and it must never be stored in profile notes, in synchroniser sets, or anywhere else in the program. We deliberately don't build a tool that would fill it in for you.
⚠️ Don't use the window synchroniser on wallets. Repeating one action across several windows at once is convenient for forms, but signing a transaction isn't an operation you want to do in one motion across ten windows. The synchroniser never mirrors passwords at all, and each profile's participation is switched on separately.
⚠️ Separate profiles don't make you anonymous. They keep browser data apart, but they don't rewrite what's already recorded on public blockchains, and they don't cancel the rules of the platforms you use.
⚠️ Backing up the phrase is still your job. Exporting a profile carries the extension and its storage along with it, but recovering a wallet without the seed phrase is impossible in principle — and that's how it should be.

A wallet extension is tied to a browser profile — so keeping several wallets side by side means having several profiles. Morfiade makes as many as you need, each with its own window, its own extensions, and, if needed, its own proxy. Everything sits on your computer, and seed phrases never leave the wallet itself.
